It seems lately that my life is measured in 6 week steps.
Six weeks ago I went back to work…. after six weeks off to recuperate from surgery. And on August 30th… another six weeks away… I will be marrying the most precious man in the world!
Yup it’s official! The time off from work has been granted and the word has spread like wildfire. The “Bullseye grapevine” is definitely in working order since everyone that DIDN’T work this weekend knew by the time they got in this morning. My Jokerman and I are getting married!
The next six weeks will be an adventure…full of everyday life and decisions about all of the whats, wheres whens and hows of putting together a wedding in a short amount of time. It won’t be anything extravagant. The bride and groom MAY be wearing jeans but it will be a celebration wtih family and friends that we’ll both treasure.
And this weekend? We head to Kansas so he can meet my mom!
THEN it’s really official!

So tell me is “PJ” still in line for a wedding? I hope “MOM” was easy on him…cuz that’s my job …giving him a hard way to go and let me tell you this has only just begun…so “PJ” strap your boots on cuz this is gonna be a long haul ;0) Suzie as for you I’ll see you in the morning bright and early!!!
